Him

I'm going to see him today. This will be the first time I have seen him since he left in June.

I'm kind of nervous.

I mean, I am still in love with him...I guess I always will be. But he made me feel very used and very - I don't know - ugly, I guess. He wasn't always very nice to me. But we did have some wonderful times together, he just let me down one too many times and I couldn't take it anymore.

So if he cleans his act up, do I give him another chance?

That's kind of a stupid question, because after 42 years, the man is not going to change. His priorities will always be wrong. He comes first, his family second. It is that simple. His needs and wants will always come before anything else.

I just wish it would change.

Political Blog

Here is a link to my new blog about my Politics class.

Comments are always welcome.

Back to School

Did I mention that school started on Tuesday?

Good grief! I am taking 5 classes - 16 credits. And they are not easy classes!!

M-F French 101
T & Th Geography & English Composition
MWF Sociology & Government

It is going to be a long semester. All but the French class are required classes for all students. I am trying to get them all out of the way in the first year or two so I can concentrate on my Computer classes the last 2 years.

I have to keep a journal for my government class. The instructor has approved my request to blog her class, so I will be setting that up in the next day or two. I will post the link as soon as I have it available.

I had to quit my job because they wouldn't let me stay on with my new availability. So I interviewed yesterday at a local call center.

I will refuse the job if they offer it to me. I just can't do that kind of job anymore. During the interview/application process, they sit you in front of a computer that simulates calls. I had a panic attack in the middle of the session because the computer was yelling at itself. Seriously. The computer was role-playing a disgruntled customer and at one point, I wanted to put my fist through the screen.

I just can't handle being yelled at anymore. (I was going to put 'stupid people', but it is smart people, too).

Then I was to have another interview today, but they have rescheduled twice. Not me. Them. Does that bode well for working there? Hmmmm...not so sure.

So I will be blogging a lot more. Now that there is excitement in my life. And sometimes it may be in French just so I can practice.

Watching movies

So yesterday we called and got a great special with our local cable provider. They gave us 3meg DSL and all the channels (including all 5 HBOs) for one LOW price. They said it would be a few days before we got the services.

Imagine my surprise when I hear the cable man outside hooking us up!!!

So we watched some shows....did some surfing...watched some more sitcoms....then I found this:

I have wanted to see Danny Deckchair since it first came out. (That goes with almost any Australian movie! I love all things Australian!)

Lucas wasn't too keen on watching it, but he did sit through most of it (until his girlfriend called). We both thoroughly enjoyed it.

This is not a movie that requires tons of thought, but it is a sweet romantic movie that I highly recommend.
