A villanelle
This is a poem I had to write for my English class. Just thought you might like to see it.
The Child She Fondly Recalls
Upon the grave, the snow slowly falls
As the watching mother gently weeps
For the child she fondly recalls.
All the childhood sibling squalls
Falls to the wayside and seeps
Into the grave as the snow slowly falls
Her hands graze across the baseballs
That bring forth the memories she reaps
Of the child she fondly recalls.
She thinks of all the long hauls
Made in the nights with little or no sleep
As upon the grave, the snow slowly falls
No more late night crawls
To give his sister the creeps
By the child she fondly recalls.
The wreath that she lovingly installs
Where he now forever sleeps
In the grave as the snow slowly falls
For the child she fondly recalls.

Hover Spot
For those of you who received an unwelcome email from me asking you to join Hover-Spot...I apologize. It was sent without my okay and I am NOT happy about it.
By the time I realized it was sending to EVERYONE on my mailing list, it was too late to stop it. I had assumed it would let me pick and choose who I wanted it sent to.
I will no longer be using Hover Spot.
