Whew!

So much has happened in the last week, but I am too exhausted to write about it. I am going to try and get some of it down tonight or tomorrow.

I need to tell you guys all about the trip to Hawaii, seeing Anthony and classes. Lots to write about and little time to do it.

Oh yeah, and we moved in the midst of all that. I think I have had enough excitement for a while. Too bad there is no rest for the weary (wicked?). We are off to Northern Minnesota next week for Turkey Day and then to Oregon for Christmas. Plus, I have finals coming up. And Meg should be coming home sometime next week.

Whew! I'm even more exhausted just thinking about it!

Worthy of honor...

Grabbed this from Cranky Epistles. Gotta do it.

Apparently there is one living veteran of the American Expeditionary Force, Mr. Fred Buckles, of Charles Town, WV. He "inflated" his age to go to war -- he was born in 1901. He is the last of two million men who served in the AEF in WWI.

When Mr. Buckles dies, he should receive a full state funeral. Not just for himself, but as the representative of all of those men who did go over there. Full-on pomp and circumstance.

To help facilitate, you can do three things:

1) Write to your elected reps;

2) Write to your local news outlets; and

3) Blog about it. Honoring our vets is something we should do every day, not just once a year.
