Stuff And Nonsense

We had a lot of fun on our trip. I have lots to tell you about it, but haven't had time to write it all down.

Since we are moving, pics and stuff will have to wait until after we get all set up in the new house.

We are selling almost everything in the house. We are going from a 4 bedroom, 2 story house into a 3 bedroom duplex.

Yikes!

Anyway, I have been trying to pack a little, play a little and then pack some more.

We'll see how that works.

If anyone wants to come help pack, just let me know, huh?

NavBar

Okay, I don't like the new NavBar.

It is supposed to sit up at the top of the screen. Instead it is sitting right above my posts.

I have searched and searched on a way to fix it. But cannot find any help.

If anyone knows how to fix it, I would be very grateful.

Thank you.

Red Shoes

When my sister got married last month, she wore beautiful red shoes under her white wedding dress.

Her colors were red and purple. It sounds hideous, but it actually turned out beautiful.

The bridesmaids wore pretty purple dresses that my sister made. And the best man wore a tux.

The groom wore a beautiful pin-striped suit with a purple cumberbund and a red hankie.

At the reception, the tables were all set with red table cloths. The silverware and plates were all purple. The cups for the juice and punch were also purple.

The flowers were purple and red with purple and red ribbons through everything.

At the reception, we had sparkling white grape juice for toasts. Everyone thought it was champagne, so very few people drank it. Dumbasses.

I have never seen my sister look more lovely or more happy. He just looked overwhelmed.

Anyway, here is a pic of my sister's shoes.

Soap Opera

Several months ago, I talked about my friend K and all her man troubles. She was once my best friend in the world.

Then she met a new man.

He actually was a friend to both of us. I had known them both for quite some time. She left her abusive ex and started dating T.

T left his abusive wife just days before moving in with K.

I thought they would be good for each other. Boy, was I wrong.

K & T both started acting very possessive. Neither one was allowed to leave the house without the other. (Example: Asshole needed a ride someplace. He called and asked them since I was not at home. He had to wait over an hour so they could find a babysitter. It was only a 15 minute ride!)

After K & T started living together, the ex-wife C started stalking them both. She would follow them around at all hours of the day and night.

Vehicles were stolen back and forth. Several houses were TP'd. A billboard (with the ex-wife's mother on it) was paintballed.

Lots of screwy stuff.

Then there was a major divorce/custody battle fight. Insults were traded, accusations were flung. It got way out of hand.

K had managed to purchase a nice double-wide in a decent park. Completely paid for it.

T talked her into buying a house. $1500 a month. They used the double-wide as a down payment.

About 3 months ago, K kicked T out. Told him she was sick of the crap between him and C.

She lost the house after that, because she has not worked in over a year, and he was paying all the bills.

She moved into a tiny little apartment above the local bar. Did I mention she has 3 children under the age of 10? She also moved a new man into her life. I don't know where she met D.

Anyway, T came by and said he was moving to Texas. We all said goodbye and I didn't see him again.

The other night, Asshole comes home from the bar and tells me he saw C at the bar. T was meeting her there and they are getting back together.

I was shocked.

Then today, at the County Fair, I saw T's dad. I asked him about T & C. He said T was back with K, but C was running around the fair somewhere. He didn't know what was going on.

I have decided to stay way clear of the whole thing.

Relocating

Okay, so we found a place to live. Now I just have to find a job.

Only thing is...the new place is in Wisconsin. So do I change my name to WisconsinDiva? I don't think so, Tim! It just doesn't have the same ring to it.

The new place is a duplex. The bottom half of a big house. We get the main floor and the basement. It has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. It also has a beautiful view of the Mississippi River Valley.

I am pretty excited about moving. I can hardly wait to get moved in.

I have spent most of the last 2 weeks looking at houses. I have seen so many houses and apartments I am sick of them.

We will rent the u-haul next week and load it up. We should be in the new house by September 1. We are going to sell most of our stuff. Most of it is old and falling apart anyway.

So we will have a new house and all new stuff in it!!
