My dad was a minister for all of my childhood and part of my adult life. I guess you could say he spoiled me for all other speakers. He has a great way with storytelling and no other minister could ever compare.

He has a blog where he has started posting some of his stories. This is a favorite of the entire family.

Va. Tech Massacre

My thoughts and prayers are with the students and families of Va. Tech
. I was too stunned to post yesterday.

As a student on a college campus, security is always in the back of my mind, but something like this never crossed my mind. I have so many questions...

*How come no one saw him go from one side of campus to the other?
*Why didn't anyone stop him?

I understand the campus not notifying students before the rampage. I do not hold them responsible. They have their guidelines and there are reasons behind them. They do not have crystal balls to tell what is going to happen.

But why didn't someone attack him? Why didn't someone say there is someone walking across campus with a ton of guns?

I just want to crawl through the TV and hug these people.

They will be on my mind all day...and probably much, much longer.
