Holiday Cheer

This article reminds me of what the holidays are all about.

If we all gave such great gifts, life would be so much more fun. I don't mean monetary to the Salvation Army, but fun things to each other.

For example, this year, I gave Prego a huge box. The only thing in it was a small Mama and Baby duck for the bathtub. We had seen it at Wal-Mart earlier and she had said how much she would like to have it for her baby(ies). So, when her back was turned I bought it and wrapped it up for her.

She told everyone she saw what I gave her. She was so excited about the way I gave it to her. Who cared that it only cost $2.88?

Nicknames

I have decided I need to come up with nicknames for the people in my life. Too many people have names that start with the same letter.

So my friend P will now be We-Fester! (She'll love that! LOL!)

My oldest son will be Buttnugget Boy.

My second boy is Pukous. (rhymes with mucous.)

My daughter shall be The Brat.

The other half? Well, he shall be the Nameless One.

And the roomie? We'll call her Prego. 'Cause she is pregnant you know.

You didn't know? Oh yeah. We find out on Monday if it is twins. HeHeHeHeHeHe!!!!

Eight More Months

Only eight more months until We-Fest!!

What?? You don't know what We-Fest is? It is only the best Country Music party in Minnesota!

(Actually, it is little more than a four day drunk with some great music!)

I look forward to it every year. My friend P and I go every year. She is the one that got me hooked on it.

Eight. More. Months.

Bloggers

Today, I read almost all of the blogs on my Blogroll. Something I haven't done in a long time.

And you know what I noticed? I am one broke mofo. Out of all the blogs I read, there are only one or two that seem to make as little money as I do.

Most bloggers make some serious money or are in the military. At least the ones I read. And by serious money, I mean over $40k a year.

I don't even come close to that.

I have also noticed most bloggers are in supervisory roles or are MIS geeks.

Maybe it's just the bloggers I read. Aren't there any broke schmucks like me out there?

You know you are getting old when...

You find grey hairs in your pussy hair.

Not that I have, but...

Merry Christmas!!

Well, what a great Christmas Eve this has been!

We have giggled and laughed for the past 2 hours! We opened presents and ate funnel cakes. What a great night!

My mother sent me a Betty Croclker Cooky Book. It is the same one that she had when I grew up. She went thru her cook book and copied all the hand-writen notes into my cook book. It is SOOOO cool!!!

I also received a small figurine from my daughter. I bought myself Seabiscuit The Movie and the book.

We have been playing with my daughter's toys and stuff.

Merry Christmas to all of you!!!
