Happy Thanksgiving!

We are spread out over the country today, but it still will be a day of Thanks for us.

Anthony returned safely from Iraq. Woohoo! He is in California with Meghan. She had the opportunity to join Anthony on his aircraft carrier and ride from Hawaii to California. Although I haven't heard a lot from them, it sounds like they are both having a great time. Meghan should be home sometime this weekend.

Lucas is doing well and his foot appears to be healing well. He and his girl Trish are doing great. They and their two little ones will be spending Thanksgiving with us.

Rachel and Bella are spending Thanksgiving in Washington. Rachel has gotten a new job that will benefit both her and Bella greatly.

So although we are separated by many miles, I am still thankful to have all my children safely in the Lower 48.

I hope all of you and your families are safe and happy this Thanksgiving. And may all the soldiers, sailors and Marines come home safely before the next one.

WE Fest : Feelin Great in 08

WE Fest : Feelin Great in 08: "We were also enormously proud to welcome home members of the National Guard Red Bull battalion, who made it back from Iraq the week before WE Fest. I wish all of you could have seen them singing the Sponge Bob Square Pants theme song at the top of t heir lungs outside of Toby Keith’s bus backstage. Toby got off the bus and jumped right in with them for a photo."
