Binge Drinking

WISN out of Milwaukee has run a two-part series on the drownings of young college men in LaCrosse.

I just thought I would share.

Questions I have:
1. Why only men? There are hundreds of women drinking there, too.
2. Why only out of town men? The locals spend an inordinate amount of time on Third Street, too.
3. And what about the ones that survive? Last spring, there was a young man that climbed out of the river and showed up at the hospital. He had no clue how he got there. Or how he got in the river. The police found his shoes, wallet and other stuff on the bank of the river. So it wasn't like he fell in the water. And it was way too cold to even think about swimming. Pretty strange.
