Assholes!

Three nights ago, my future father-in-law was mugged outside his apartment.

Bud is 72 years old. He had been to the local bar and played some pull tabs. For those of you not familiar with these, they are like scratch off games, but you pull the tabs off instead of scratching them.

Anyway, Bud won a couple hundred dollars. As he was unlocking the door to his apartment building, someone came up behind him and smacked him in the back of the head with a 2x4.

He woke up in the hospital, not sure how he got there. He is going to be okay.

But how could someone do that?!?!? He's an old man!! that is just wrong.

It's not like he lives in LA or NYC. He lives in Podunk, Minnesota.

I lost some faith in humanity today.
